Hey everyone! Today is Friday and I just had an interesting day. Remember my problem of the moment? Click here if you want to know. Well, I had the « talk » today and it absolutely didn’t go like I thought it would. Pffftt .. Anyways, on a brighter note Baby Girl is coming home this evening. Finally. As much as I love this break and not working so much, I kinda miss the routine. 🤓 Also -my mind is soooo preoccupied with the communion, but I realized that I also have to think about our move. Click here for the post. That’s fast approaching and we haven’t found a place yet! Arrrghhh … too many things are going on!
Hello everyone! I’m a little late to present the beauty box that I received last month, but like they say – better late than never!
The choice for the photographer was quite easy. Since I moved to France, I’ve had the chance to meet a couple of photographers. All of them have a regular week job, while photography is more of a passion and done on the weekend. This makes me wonder if one can live comfortably off photography in France. 🤔 🤔
One-Pot Pasta. Never in my dreams I thought I would cook pasta this way! I learned to cook pasta thanks to my father and he was very traditional. Pasta had to cooked in salted boiling water until al dente, drained carefully (reserving a ladle full of pasta water to add to the sauce), and served with its delicious sauce.
I finally got the perfume I had my eyes on for the longest time. Yay, happiness! I was going back and forth for a while because I’ve also been eyeing another one, but I finally bought it. The other one will be for the summer. Hihihi 🤭🤭 Plus, there was an ongoing sale, Les French Days, and I got 30% off. Perfection.
Any break-up is tough. We’ve all been through them. You cry, you eat a little too much ice cream and chocolate, you get a horrible haircut, and you spend what little money you have left shopping for things you absolutely have no use for. Eventually, you tell yourself you’re an amazing person who deserves someone equally as amazing.
But what do you do when it comes to a friendship? Most cases people naturally drift away from each other. We blame life, work, or responsibilities. But let’s be honest if you let these things come in the way, then perhaps the friendship was just not worth it.
If ever you’re looking for a good place to have delicious French pastries, you simply must go to Maison Fresson in Metz. Located in the city center, in a pedestrian-only area, it is the perfect place to be after a day of shopping, working, or just strolling. In short, anything is a good excuse to go to Maison Fresson. 😉 😉
It’s another day which means it’s another day closer to Communion Day.
Lately, it feels like my mind has been taken over by the communion and that’s all I can think about. I am really super excited for Baby Girl. Plus, she is the only child that we have and will probably only have, so this is our first and last time to ever prepare for this day. Nothing can stop me at this point. 😆😆
I take great pleasure in cooking for my family. If you take a look at my Instagram account (click here), you’ll see exactly what I mean. Since I got my Thermomix TM5, I’ve been making regularly Waffles for Baby Girl. Actually, I make them on Saturday mornings. We eat about 2 each and I freeze the rest. These are eaten during the week for breakfast or sometimes Baby Girl brings some as a school snack. This saves us so much time during the week and money too!
Another week. Another week of shopping. Surprise, surprise … I didn’t even really want to go shopping this week. But Baby Girl asked nicely if we could go to Primark in Metz, France. And so we did – I shopped in the name of love. 🤣🤣
