Hello! I hope you are all doing ok. Here it is total panic. We are supposed to move out soon. On July 1 to be exact. Problem is … we did find an apartment, but at the last moment the owner decided to rent the apartment out to friends. And now, we can’t seem to find another apartment! 😨
Every time Dad was discharged from the hospital in 2013, he would promise my daughter, Baby Girl, that he would bring her to Disneyland Paris one day. Unfortunately, he never got to. In the summer of 2013, we thought we could go on Baby Girl’s birthday, but Dad was hospitalized again and things went from bad to worse for him. Sadly sometimes, even if there’s a will, there’s also no way. Which is why ,we included a trip to Disneyland in our Paris trip. This meant we would spend one less day touring the city of Paris, but for our daughter we were capable of much more. This was also the Husband’s and my first time in Disneyland and we were quite excited to see what it felt like to be in « the happiest place in the world ».
There is no doubt that the city of Paris is a beautiful city rich of history and architecture. During our 4 day stay we wanted to do as much as we could, but obviously we lacked time. For most of the landmarks, we contented ourselves by seeing them from the outside. There is probably just 1-2 that we took the time to actually visit.
As promised in the previous blog post (click here for the post), the next ones will be all about our Paris trip in August 2014. I was shocked when I realized that this was our one and only time to be together in Paris. Since then, I’ve been back on my own a couple of times, with just the Husband or with just Baby Girl.
I don’t know if you noticed, but I didn’t go shopping last week. 😱 My wallet was still recovering from Baby Girl’s communion. Haha. But you know me, I quickly went back to old habits. A little bit each time but regularly – that’s how I like it!
Rain or shine, if I want to eat a stew I’ll cook one. Truthfully when it comes to food I don’t really follow the seasons. Of course, I won’t eat a Tomato Salad when tomatoes are out of season and not any good. But nothing will stop me from eating a soup in the middle of the summer if I want to. Or a stew. 😋
Baby Girl’s communion was probably one of the best and proudest moment I’ve experienced this year. Contrary to her baptism, where we held her in our arms as she was bathed with Holy Water, this time Baby Girl accepted the Holy Sacrament of God all on her own. And she shined!
I hope you are all doing well. I’m still recovering from Baby Girl’s communion last weekend. Oh what fun it was. Everything went super well. My wallet feels a bit lighter, but who cares. LOL. I can’t wait to have a little time to write a blog post all about it and share it with you.
Hello everyone! Today I will share with you my morning skincare routine – especially for this Spring. When I arrived in France, I realized that because of the different seasons my skincare had to change according to it.
