Any break-up is tough. We’ve all been through them. You cry, you eat a little too much ice cream and chocolate, you get a horrible haircut, and you spend what little money you have left shopping for things you absolutely have no use for. Eventually, you tell yourself you’re an amazing person who deserves someone equally as amazing.
But what do you do when it comes to a friendship? Most cases people naturally drift away from each other. We blame life, work, or responsibilities. But let’s be honest if you let these things come in the way, then perhaps the friendship was just not worth it.
My daughter, Baby Girl, is 9 years old now. How time flies … !!! This year, she decided to have her communion. A lot of her friends had theirs last year, but I think she wasn’t ready then. As her parents, the Husband and I are behind her 100% in the religious ceremony and the celebration we are planning with our friends and family.
As a teenage girl, one of my weekend activity was « malling with my friends ». As we got older, we preferred going on road trips, going to the beach, and having parties, but I’ll never forget that part of my life where I would get all excited about meeting my friends (and boys …. ssshh!) at the mall. It’s funny because we wouldn’t even shop for stuff, we just liked walking in circles around the mall. Oh and the drama – we loved that a lot too!
Hello! In 2016, the Husband, Baby Girl, and I travelled to Doha, Qatar. This was such a great and fun trip. The Husband’s sister and brother live in Doha and my father-in-law decided to stopped by Qatar before eventually going to the States for a couple of months. So this was the perfect opportunity for the family to be together.
Back to school this year is a little special as Baby Girl is going to a new school. Again. We were talking about it the other day and in 9 years, she has already changed schools 5 times. She considers herself a pro now. LOL. But if things all go as planned, this new school will probably be her last until high school. Lire la suite →
