After 10 days of vacation in Doha, Qatar, it was sadly time to go back home. Back to work, back to school, back to the cold, in short … time to go back to reality!
While we enjoyed immensely our stay at Doha, I have to be honest that the main reason we went to Doha was family. We love traveling, but there are so many other countries on our to-go-to list. But like I mentioned – family was our main purpose for this trip.
As a teenage girl, one of my weekend activity was « malling with my friends ». As we got older, we preferred going on road trips, going to the beach, and having parties, but I’ll never forget that part of my life where I would get all excited about meeting my friends (and boys …. ssshh!) at the mall. It’s funny because we wouldn’t even shop for stuff, we just liked walking in circles around the mall. Oh and the drama – we loved that a lot too!
Truthfully, I had never heard about a Desert Safari before our trip to Qatar. To me, Safaris were the kind you would find in South Africa or Namibia. But when my sister-in-law mentioned this, we were definitely curious!

It seems that aside from spending major time with family, our stay in Qatar was also about eating, eating, and more eating!!! Fortunately for us, that’s not a bad thing at all! ;p
I am super excited to finally write about our recent trip to Doha, Qatar. For one, we discovered and explored a beautiful country. And two, we were able to spend time with family – my husband’s father, his older brother, and his younger sister.
Hello! In 2016, the Husband, Baby Girl, and I travelled to Doha, Qatar. This was such a great and fun trip. The Husband’s sister and brother live in Doha and my father-in-law decided to stopped by Qatar before eventually going to the States for a couple of months. So this was the perfect opportunity for the family to be together.
