Hey, you!
If you read one of my recent post (the one on Batch Cooking - click here for the post), then you know that one of my resolution this year is to read 1 French book per month.
Well, I can't say I started the year with a bang with Central Park by Guillaume Musso.
It's a bit sad though, because the blurb was very interesting. Imagine this - the main characters, Alice and Gabriel don't know each other, however they wake up handcuffed to one another on a bench in the middle of Central Park. But the night before Alice was partying in Paris and Gabriel was playing music in Dublin. So how did this happen? They have no idea!
Sounds good, right? I thought so too until I finished reading the book.
Honestly, it was quite addictive and a page-turner. I was excited to get to the end, to get answers to my many questions. But you know what I said out loud when I was done?
"That's it?? All of that or that?!"
Sadly, yes.
