Hey, you! 🥳
"Pourrais-tu faire tes huîtres au four pour le dîner de la veille de Noël ? (Will you please make your baked oysters for Christmas Eve dinner?) My half-sister nicely asked me on the phone the other day.
We have always loved Cheesy Baked Oysters, but this has become an official Christmas dinner staple ever since I made this for my sister and her family several years ago. I'm not exactly sure when or how that happened, but all I remember clearly is my sister's and my-brother-in-law's reaction. Jaw-dropping.
The Christmas after they asked me to make it for the rest of our family and people in my family who are not especially fans of oysters love this! I remember my great-uncle saying that Cheesy Baked Oysters are a million kilometres above raw oysters. Wow!
