Italy in my Plate

Hello, you! The days are getting longer here with each passing day and the weather is getting warmer. In about a month and a half, it will be summer after all. And in the summer, I don’t like to eat that much. I like to stock up on salad ingredients. But eating salad every day can also get old after a while, so I try to come up with different ideas. Today, I thought I would prepare an Italian-themed plate.

One of Baby Girl’s favorite thing in the world to eat is Mozzarella Burrata. These days whenever I go to the supermarket I always try to grab some.

Since tonight it was just Baby Girl and I for dinner, I decided I would prepare a supper pretty and delicious plate for us to share. It was so simple to make yet the combination of all of these different flavors was amazing!

Spring / Summer Italian Plate

Spinach (washed and rinsed) with a dash of balsamic cream

Roasted Cherry Tomatoes with a pinch of salt

Steamed White Asparagus with pesto

Prosciutto slices

Mozzarella Burrata with a pinch of black pepper

Walnut bread

If you’ve never had Mozzarella Burrata before, I highly recommend it. But try to get the good creamy kind!
