Hey, you! 🥤
If you haven't tried Korean Strawberry Milk before, you absolutely have to!
I'm sure that this deliciously sweet drink is enjoyed outside of Asia too, but it is definitely a favorite in Korea. Growing up in the Philippines, I remember drinking something like this but I was more of team chocolate milk back then. Hehe.
This is super simple to make if you're looking for a quick refreshing drink to enjoy. Nothing artificial here, especially when strawberries are in full season. It is definitely better than what you can find in the stores!
Korean Strawberry Milk is made with 3 simple ingredients - fresh strawberries, sugar, and milk. All you have to do is mash some fresh strawberries, sweeten with sugar, and add milk.
Personally, I like to heat the mashed strawberries so it is less liquid and more flavourful.
I haven't had it with anything other than cow's milk, but in case you're wondering, I'm sure that you can replace the dairy milk with non-dairy milk. Oh and you can also froth the milk to make it creamier. Yum!
As you can see, I haven't included the quantities to the recipe card. It will really depend on how sweet you like this drink of not. It won't hurt to do a test and trial until you get the perfect drink. 😜
