Hey, you! Two weeks ago, I was craving for some pizza. This rarely ever happens because I don’t really like pizza. No wait I do, but I don’t really consider it like a meal. Do you get what I mean? For me, I’ll eat a slice of pizza as a starter (or an afternoon snack hihihi) and that’s fine, but a whole pizza – not my thing! For those who don’t know me, I’m weird like that. 😜
The Husband wasn’t too excited about the idea of having pizza that day, but when I threw in the idea of making it a Pizza Hut vs. Domino’s dinner he jumped right in. That’s how I get things done around here. I never give up on an idea, I just find a way around it. The Husband always comments how somehow in the end I always get what I want. He obviously didn’t pick up on my strategy. LOL.
I made the mistake of telling my French trainee about our pizza dinner. I say mistake because he kept making fun of me that whole morning. « You like American pizza? American pizza?! » Yes and I’m not ashamed! Of course, I like the thin-crusted pizzas too, but I grew up eating thick-crusted pizza so this is part of me.
I ordered two classics:
Domino’s Original Pepperoni (Large) – 7.99 Euros
Pizza Hut Hawaiian (Large) – 12 Euros
The Husband and Baby Girl were both for Domino’s, while I preferred Pizza Hut. I suspect it’s the fact that I don’t really like pepperoni or meat (ham is fine) on my pizza.
So which team are you on? Domino’s or Pizza Hut?
*By the way, I ordered online which was quite easy and convenient. I received a confirmation email confirming payment and the time to pick up the food. Thankfully, the two stores are about 500 meters apart. Thumbs up!
