Hey, you! 😊
So now that I've made my Pumpkin Purée (click here for the post), I needed to refill my small jar of Pumpkin Pie Spice. A small jar of this spice mix usually lasts me the whole autumn. Sometimes I'll make some more in December, but that's pretty rare. In fact, it depends on what I make and how much I make - bread, pancakes, muffins, cakes, and latte.
I prepare my own Pumpkin Pie Spice mix for 2 reasons. One, I can't find any ready-to-use spice mix in my local supermarket (or perhaps I haven't looked enough) and two, I'm not a fan of Allspice so I don't include it in my recipe. If you do however, don't hesitate to add some. I've also heard that some people like to add ground black pepper to their mix as well. I haven't tried yet and truthfully, I'm already satisfied with my spice mix as it is.
Tomorrow, I'll share my Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe. See you! ☕

Thanks for sharing this recipe! In Denmark, you can't find pumpkin spice at the grocery store, but I've been wanting to make pumpkin spice drinks. Now I know what ingredients to use to make my own spice blend!
