Hey, you! đ
Why do people go crazy for Pumpkin Spice Latte? Why do I?
I had Pumpkin Spice Latte for the first time a few years after I moved to France. We used to go to Starbucks in the Philippines all the time, but for reason it was never on the menu. Perhaps because there is no autumn season in the Philippines (?). I would hear about it all the time in movies / series and always wondered what it tasted like.
My first taste of PSL was at Fox Coffee, a very popular coffee shop in the city where I'm currently living and I remember thinking how amazing my first sip was. It was literally comfort in a cup. I eventually tried some at Starbucks when they finally opened their first shop here but admittedly it was not as good as I had hoped. The one at Fox Coffee tasted more homemade and wayyyyy more delicious!
So again, why do people go crazy for Pumpkin Spice Latte?
The comfort, I guess. Like the first sip I had. Happiness. Warmth from the spices. Happy family memories from Thanksgiving. And of course, the flavor. Because if it wasn't good, then I'm not too sure it would be that popular. I personally love the natural sweetness of the pumpkin.
I was thinking of making a Pumpkin Spice Creamer and keep it in the fridge for a week, but I decided to go with individual servings instead. In the video today, I used condensed milk as sweetener. I really love how it makes the drink so creamy even if I only use 1 tablespoon. Otherwise, I like maple syrup too.

I love pumpkin so I may try making this!
Pumpkin spice latte isn't a big thing in where I live but it looks super delish. I guess I can pretty easily make one for myself. Thanks for the awesome recipe!
I am not a huge fan of pumpkin spice coffee, but I appreciate that I can make it at home using your recipe. I am suuprise that yiu use pumpkin puree; interesting. I will probably add some rum to your pumpkin spice latte recipe for a little buzz.- Kevin
