Hey, you! 🥰 🥰
My 13-year old daughter, S, asked me to make her a baon for her field trip today.
I couldn't help but wonder when was the last time I had done this for her.
Five or six years ago? 🤔

What is a BAON?
A baon is the Filipino term for a packed lunch. When I was younger, I didn't often bring a baon to school or work. But when I did for a field trip for example, I liked a nice Egg Sandwich or a Simple Tomato and Butter Sandwich (that used to be my favorite sandwich of all time!!!). I also liked a Sardines and Onion Sandwich, but it's complicated to bring that on a school field trip. #onionbreath 😂😂
Anyways ....
Here what I prepared (and woke up at 5:30am for!):
-Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Bagel
-Fresh Veggies
-Homemade Hummus
-Parmesan and Sunflower Seed Crisps
I haven't made a baon in sooooo long, but had so much fun making it! I think I'm gonna make this more often. Oh and by the way, S absolutely loved it! 😊
So, food is my love language, what's yours? ❤️❤️
