It's been sooooo long since I've posted a weekly meal plan!! I have to admit that I haven't really been home a lot these past few weeks though. It's finally summer, but this particular summer, I've decided to take it easy and enjoy time with my family. At the end of June, we went to Paris - I've actually started writing about that trip here on the blog. It's also on the podcast (click here for the episodes). If you're wondering - yes I officially launched my podcast about 2 weeks ago! I will write all about it here as soon as I can catch up with my previous engagements. The thing with taking time off is making up for it. But I have no regrets.
After Paris, we travelled down to Lourdes and then back to Paris. I came back home for a few days, then left again to go to my sister's at the countryside. Then I took a few days to go to the sea and finally here I am again (before we leave again in a week). Since I'm staying a week here, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make some of my summer favourites and try new recipes as well. I want to make some Reels for Instagram too. I was shocked to see that the fridge was empty when I came back home, we didn't even have any salt left! Hahaha. My husband stayed home while I was at my sister's and because he's not much of a foodie, he just ate whatever was left in the fridge and freezer. This kinda worked out perfectly because I usually like to empty our freezer in the summer, deep-clean it, before I start freezing food again in preparation for autumn-winter.
As you can see, we like to eat a lot of salads during the summer. Fruits, too! I feel like we lose weight during spring-summer, but gain it all back in autumn-winter. I can thank stews and roasted dishes for that. LOL.
