Hey you! 🇵ðŸ‡
Tomorrow is the Philippines' Independence Day, or Araw ng Kalayaan. This day commemorates the declaration of Philippines independence from Spain in 1898.
As much as I want to cook lots and lots of Filipino food, such as the Boodle Fight in the photo above, I won't be able to. The weather has been really warm lately where we live - it's summer before it is officially summer. As I'm typing this, it's about 32 degrees Celsius and I have the electric fan blowing air straight to my face. It's been like this for the past week so cooking in the kitchen doesn't seem like a wise idea. I will cook Chicken Adobo tomorrow because it is our country's national dish, but the rest of the week will mostly be salads and anything that's quick to make.

I haven't been making any recipes videos lately. I'm planning to make and film a French Savory Cake today, but I'm kinda procrastinating. It's so warmmmm - I really really don't want to turn on the oven! 🥵
Great ideas here! This helps a lot thanks for sharing!
Awesome post. Love the weekly meal prep ideas and the use of leftovers. Happy Philippines Independence Day.
I would be afraid to turn on the oven too when it's that hot! Whew! But I like your meal plan. I need to start doing that again.
