This week wasn't the greatest for me, but that doesn't mean we can't eat well, right? In fact, we had Raclette today - the first one of the season! I have to be honest though, Raclette isn't something that we particularly fancy. And when I say "we", I mean my husband and I. Our daughter, S, on the other hand loves Raclette, which is why I try to include it in our meals a few times during autumn and winter. She loves staying with my French family because they probably have it at least once or twice a week. Even in the summer! Haha. If I had to choose a cheese dish, I probably would go for Tartiflette (click here for the recipe) or Baked Mont d'Or. Oh my, all this cheese talk is getting me hungry now. 🤤
I don't know if I mentioned it here, but S only needs me to prepare her a lunchbox twice a week instead of three times now. I don't mind because mannnn, it's hard to think of lunch box ideas when nothing comes to mind. Haha. Anyways ... I'm making my mushroom gravy again this week. I made sure to get frozen mushrooms so I could make it anytime we want. It's always a sure thing in our household and even my friend's two-year old went, "Ooh yummy" when I fed her some.
